Title: North American IndiansNorth American Indians
Author: Marie & Douglas Gorsline
Pages: 30
Reading Level: 7-8
Star Rating: ★★★

North American Indians is basically a kids’ primer on Indians. Although it is thirty pages long, not much information is covered – illustrations are the real focus. Some of these included depictions of Indians in nothing but loincloths.

Because it sought to cover many different tribes, North American Indians, wasn’t able to fully develop the history or customs of any of the tribes and only provided introductory comments.

One illustration shows men dancing around in weird costumes.

Conclusion. Not bad, but books from the …If You Series are far more informative.
