The eighth children’s biography of Lincoln!

#yaywoohoo

There’s not all that much to say anymore. I said it all in the first seven reviews. So… I’ll just make a list going from most informative Lincoln biography to least informative.

1. Abe Lincoln: Log Cabin to White House by Sterling North
2. Who Was Abraham Lincoln? by Janet B. Pascal
3. Abe Lincoln: The Young Years by Keith Brandt
4. If You Grew Up with Abraham Lincoln by Ann McGovern
5. Abraham Lincoln [This one!]
6. Abraham Lincoln [Childhood of Famous Americans Series] by Augusta Stevenson
7. Abe Lincoln’s Hat by Martha Brenner
8. A Picture Book of Abraham Lincoln by David A. Adler

The War Between the states is described as being about slavery and nothing else.

An illustration on page 10 depicts Lincoln and another man in super-hero style tights. [This is the page that discusses how strong Lincoln was for his age and size.]

Conclusion. Okay. Abe Lincoln: Log Cabin to White House and Who Was Abraham Lincoln? are probably the best biographies you could invest in.
