This book is called a ‘Science I Can Read Book’, and it lives up to its claim. It is very scientific – for an I Can Read Book. :)

Meet Willy. Willy wants a goldfish. So what does Willy do? Willy asks his father for the money to buy a goldfish. After buying his goldfish, he asks for money to buy a fishbowl. After buying the fishbowl, he asks for money to buy fish food. Now Willy is all set up!

But as Willy watches his fish swim around and around, he begins to think of questions. Questions like – why can’t fish eat bread and butter? Why do fish only eat once a day? How do fish breathe? What exactly is oxygen?

And to all of Willy’s questions, there is an answer.

Conclusion. A cute story – children will learn basic information about fish, and will also be encouraged to ask a myriad of questions about the world around them. :)
