Poppy Eyebright is a clever young mouse. Why just think – she runs the Dairy Stump Creamery all by herself! Of course, when it comes down to it, Dusty Dogwood runs the flour mill by himself, but he always has such a bedraggled appearance as opposed to Poppy’s cleanness. But cleanness is no obstacle when Poppy and Dusty decide that they wish to be married and join their endeavors together!

Conclusion. The story isn’t quite as enjoyable as The High Hills, but the illustrations are every bit as wonderful.
