The Hollisters are at it again.
The Hollisters have been solving mysteries for a long time now, but they are at last becoming official – now they are the Shoreham Detective Club, and they are allowing others of their friends to join in their sleuthing pursuits. But it looks like they have bitten off more than they can chew when old Mrs. Neely asks them to solve the haunting of her antiques museum.
Can the Shoreham Detective Club discover what’s really going on in the mansion? Or will their agency plummet into disgrace?
Obviously the question of haunting comes up, and a skeleton is even spotted flying above the house. This event along with all other supernatural occurrences is explained away.
The Hollisters put Joey through an initiation ritual which is specially designed to frighten him – the gig up includes a talking skull and various Halloween-ish type decorations.
‘Golly’ is used twice.
Conclusion. A good installment in the Hollister series.
