Every body knows that Abraham Lincoln was President of the United States a long time ago. But how many of us know that he owned a dog named Fido? Not many, I’ll warrant.

Here’s your chance to find out all about Fido – how he walked to market every day with Mr. Lincoln before he became famous, and sipped soda water at the drug store with Tad and Willie Lincoln. How much he liked carrying parcels back from market and eating scraps in the Lincoln’s kitchen. And most of all scared he was by the fuss and noise when Mr. Lincoln was elected President, and how happy he was not to be taken to the capital where all would be crowds and people.

But did Fido ever see his beloved Lincolns again?

Conclusion. A cute story – not very informative concerning the Lincoln family, but still sweet.
