Otis is a little tractor that goes putt puff puttedy chuff as he works around the farm, plays leap frog over the hay bales and falls asleep in his stall. He is devoted to his farm and gives his all to make sure the fields stay in tip top shape.
But then, one day, the farmer comes home with a newer, bigger tractor. He says Otis is too little and old to help out on the farm. Otis is sad and depressed. Will he ever play leap frog again?
Conclusion. A sweet story with a wonderful heroic twist in the end. Obviously, Otis is endowed with the human quality of thought and feeling, but he is unable to speak.
