Once upon a time three soldiers wandered cold and lonely in a foreign land. They were tired and hungry, yet every farm they stopped at seemed to have nothing to spare for them to eat. The soldiers knew that in reality, though the people had little, their reluctance to share stemmed more from their prejudice against the soldiers themselves. So one of the soldiers decided to develop the villager’s curiosity and thus their sense of collaboration by cooking up a stone soup…

Conclusion. Really like this version of the old story; especially the sense of history it develops through its cast of characters and setting.
