Title: The Space ShuttleThe Space Shuttle

I recently bought a whole slew of books about space at a library sale – they cover all sorts of different aspects of space study and travel, but this one is unique in that it focuses on one topic alone: life in the shuttle.

The Space Shuttle describes the construction of the shuttle, its preparation for flight, liftoff, and means of control while hurtling through space. Also discussed is the schedules of the astronauts who fly aboard the shuttle from mealtimes to exercise routines, recovery missions and extra-vehicular activity.

All of which is very fun indeed.

Pictures are shown of Astronauts shirtless and wearing short shorts on pages 21-22.

Conclusion. Good – the informative counterbalance to If You Decide to Fly to the Moon.
