In this story, Lisa brings Corduroy to the Laundromat where she and her mother take their clothes to be cleaned. But while he sits waiting for them, Corduroy overhears someone talking about pockets. Pockets! They sound like marvelous things, and in a flash, Corduroy decides that he wants pockets more than anything in the world! So he starts to wander around the Laundromat looking for a pocket. But when he get thrown in with another man’s laundry and Lisa and her mother have to leave, he begins to worry – will he be reunited with Lisa in the morning.?
Corduroy, though a stuffed animals, apparently has the ability to walk and think like a sentient creature. However the only person he can converse with is Lisa.
Conclusion. Not as endearing as the original Corduroy, but fun for children who wish to continue having adventures with him.
