Title: Indians of the Eastern WoodlandsIndians of the Eastern Woodlands
Author: Rae Bains

I’ve recently read and reviewed three other books in this series – Indian Crafts, Indian Festivals, and Indian Homes. Those three books all explored the variations practed by tribes scattered across North America. This book surveys only the Indians found in the Eastern portion of American – Algonquins and Iroquois, specifically. Their modes of dress, hunting, social order, and housing are all explored.

Indians are depicted in nothing but loincloths.

Conclusion. Interesting.
