Oh, hello there, Mandy. And James. And Blackie.
Mandy Hope is absolutely ecstatic to help Hannah Burgess’ beautiful husky, Quiver, deliver her litter of puppies and even more excited when she learns that Hannah could use some extra help as she tries to juggle planning a wedding and preparing her team of dogs for a strenuous race. Mandy and James quickly volunteer to pitch in.
But when Hannah’s fiancé, Michael, is careless with Leo, the lead dog, and he hurts his paw, it seems as though both the wedding and the race are off. Can Mandy find a way to keep both events on the calendar?
Mandy is nowhere near as nauseating as she has the capacity to be – instead she seems actually caring as she works with both animals and humans.
Most of the huskies are named after Norse gods – Odin, Keira, etc. – which I found quite entertaining.
Hannah casually teases Mandy about James.
‘Gee’ is used twice.
