Title: The Spy’s Guide to Scouting and ReconnaissanceSpy University - The Spy's Guide to Scouting and Reconnaissance
Author: Jim Wiese
Pages: 48
Recommended Ages: 8 & up
Star Rating: ★★★

In this installment in the Spy University Series we are treated to a class on scouting and reconnaissance – undercover. Through a series of stories, exercises, and solve-it-yourself problems, the reader’s skills in these areas are developed and honed so that by the end we are prepared to handle stake-outs!

At least… mild ones. :D

As usual, historical instances of espionage are included, often with the main spy applying the same principles of camouflage, etc. we learned, only at a more advanced level. My favorite parts from this book were the sections on embedding maps and communicados into otherwise harmless objects.

Conclusion. Good. Also read The Spy’s Guide to Disguise and Great Spy Stories of All Time
