Reading Level: Read Aloud
Star Rating: ★★★★

I gotta admit – this book really cracked me up. It follows the adventures of the titular characters, Mrs. Gaddy and Crow, as they develop a vendetta for each other which causes them to play a series of hilarious escalating tricks on each other. They become so concentrated upon exacting their revenge that they begin to neglect the things that really matter in their lives – Mrs. Gaddy’s garden goes to ruin and Crow neglects to start a family. In the end they both realize that their unhealthy desire for revenge is draining their energy and distracting them from the things that really matter.

Conclusion. A hilarious lesson on the danger of revenge.
