In this wonderfully, wonderfully illustrated story, four little collie pups experience the changes and befuddlements that accompany the shift of seasons. As each new season arrives, the puppies are excessively saddened by the disappearance of the last season and its peculiar attractions, but become doubly excited by the new activities. After an entire year has passed, the puppies realize there is nothing to be sad about – each season is wonderful in its own way – and they aren’t little puppies anymore. They’re bona fide grown ups!
Lilian Obligado captures the furry friskness of collies exactly in her marvelous pictures.
